spring is booming

Every day new flowers , early draba, primula, peach and apricot, ladybird on willow, bulbous coridalis and of course the first tulips.

My pond is crowded with common frogs, nothing "special" but a mouse in the bin.... and yes I'm throwing away my scanned slides...

Stinzenflowers flowering again

In my garden and on the estates in 's-Graveland, Netherlands the special bulbflowers are flowering again :-) Grape hyacinth, Hellebore, anemone blanda, chionodoxa, petasites, scilla, daffodil....

France, Lac-du-Der

A week to late, last weekend.. been to Lac-du-Der in the middle of France. To see the cranes, but they were almost gone. But never the less, it was fine weather and we did see some of these strange birds.. and a lot of other things.

Spring images

Wanted to do some estates in the east of Holland, but was hold up in a guided tour in the oil-windmill in Zwolle, "de Passiebloem" One mill for the collection and some flowers of estate Dickninge near De Wijk.
