Knopper gall (Knopper gal) (Andricus quercuscalicis) is not rare but you don't see it often. The fungus seems to be a Dennestekelzwam (in Dutch) Phellodon tomentosus and is exremely rare, but I don't know if its true Its not True its the Coltricia perennis, Echte Tolzwam, not rare
